More information about me
My name is Melissa and I'm 33 years old. I was born and raised in the city center of Rotterdam, in the district 'Oude Westen'. I'm currently still living in Rotterdam. I'm very passionate about this city, because it has so much to offer. Rotterdam is one of the most multi-cultural cities in The Netherlands. I've always enjoyed the exchange of cultures that takes place in the city, as I myself am mixed race as well. “What's your background?” or "Where are you from?" are questions I got asked most frequently when I was young. I believe this experience motivated me to start a career in making expats feel at home. It is an honor if I can contribute to their happiness, by helping them get settled in a new place to call home. It doesn’t feel like I’m working at all.
Because of my study I’m pretty well-known in Amsterdam too. It is a beautiful and romantic city with its antique houses, lovely bridges & famous canals. I love to visit Amsterdam during the weekend. It is my goal to make expats feel at home. Thats why I started Expat Mortgage Platform. I'm a certified mortgage advisor, but it’s also possible to help you with the negotiations. I am active nationwide in The Netherlands, so feel free to contact me.
