We are Adrian and Ramona Bursu, and we would like to welcome you to Casa La Bursucu, our family-run lodge in the village of Techereu, in Hunedoara County, Romania.
Our place is located about 40 minutes by car from Orăștie, the nearest larger town. From there, the road slowly leads you away from traffic, noise, and schedules — and into real rural Romania.

If you are looking for polished resorts or crowded tourist hotspots, this is not that.
But if you want space, nature, silence, fresh air, and authentic countryside life, then you’ve arrived exactly where you need to be.
A renovated lodge, built for comfort and togetherness
Casa La Bursucu was fully renovated one year ago, with the clear goal of combining rustic charm with modern comfort. The lodge has six comfortable guest rooms, making it ideal for families, groups of friends, or several couples traveling together.
